Mani Subramanian (born 1947) is an Indian-American computer scientist and academic. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in 1975 and has since been working in the field of computer networks and communication. Subramanian has served as a professor at several universities, including Iowa State University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications and books on computer networking, wireless networks, and mobile computing. Subramanian has also received several awards and honors for his contributions to the field of computer science, including the IEEE Communications Society's Distinguished Technical Achievement Award in 2003 and the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Achievement Award in 2014.
